Production. Our own factory was built in Bollnäs in 2006 and was put into operation in the first quarter of 2007. Prior to this, we outsourced all production to external manufacturers, which worked well until the volumes became too large.The factory is built first and foremost for manufacturing our fireproof SA Series filing cabinet, which is our largest product. Manufacturing a large filing cabinet with our requirements on quality, design and function places huge demands on all the stages of production, as the tolerances are minimal. Our new factory is built in response to current and future requirements on quality, environment, effectiveness and volume. Today, there are eight people working with welding, filling and final assembly, whereas stamping, bending and coating is carried out by subcontractors. This is how a Secura cabinet is manufactured. |
